6000 kilometrov od Nove Gorice se nahaja čudovit in prijeten Almaty, južna prestolnica ene največjih držav na svetu – Kazahstana.

Živim v središču svojega domačega kraja. In na 12 fotografijah, 6 barvnih in 6 črno-belih, vas bom poskušal seznaniti z videzom, podrobnostmi, vzdušjem kraja, v katerem še niste bili. In najverjetneje tudi ne boste.

Kljub veliki razdalji imamo (Slovenija in Kazahstan) veliko skupnega. Njuno preteklost namreč predstavljata dva velikana – Jugoslavija in Sovjetska zveza. Robniki, table, otopelost, klopi, table … Je kaj podobnega?

// At 6000 kilometers from Nova Gorica there is a beautiful and cozy Alma-Ata city, the southern capital of one of the largest countries in the world – Kazakhstan.

I live in the center of my hometown. And in 12 photographs, 6 color and 6 black and white, I will try to acquaint you with the appearance, details, atmosphere of a place that you have never been to. And most likely you won’t.

Despite the great distance, we (Slovenia and Kazakhstan) have a lot in common. Namely, the past represented by the two giants of Yugoslavia and the USSR. Curbs, signs, dullness, benches, signboards … Is there something similar?
