GLEDALIŠKI PRIZOR (snemano v KC Mostovna) // THEATRICAL SCENE (shot in KC Mostovna)

// ‘A theatrical scene’ is a creative workshop in which it is necessary at first to write a text for which the starting point is: a theatrical rehearsal on stage – and then record, edit and sound it into a whole in one week. An individual author has 1 day to record. All students get acquainted with individual technical and creative work in the recording team, as each author puts together his own production team. Students also participate in the project as actors, as they learn how to express themselves in front of the camera. The project was realized just before this study year because of corona situation.

Direktor je zelo zahteven in mu počasi zmanjkuje potrpljenja, dokler mu ne poči film. // At first we think we’re watching an old noir film, but then quickly realize we’re on the set of the film. The director is very demanding and is slowly losing his patiance, until he loses it.

// There are four people in the film, at first we only see two of them talking on stage, I take the story to a larger space where the viewer sees it, it’s a theatrical performance. We have several conflicts between people, especially between the main actors and director. In the end, however, I concluded with director’s prank to all of the staff.

//A theatre rehearsal goes bad after participants realize they won’t be paid.

Martin Lozej
// An actor’s career hangs in the balance as he tries as he tries to fiddle his way through a small theatrical feature, coming to the realisation his father’s good name won’t help him in the long run.
