“Digitalni dnevniki” je projekt na kanalu YouTube, ki kaže da je vsak človek zgodba, kakor za vsakim nasmehom, vsako brazgotino .. obstaja zgodba. Posneli smo slike različnih ljudi iz naše države Pakistan (pripadniki različnih kultur) in jih prosili, naj delijo svojo življenjsko zgodbo. Posneli smo le zvočni posnetek in dodali podnapise v angleščini da bi premagali jezikovno oviro, z njihovimi slikami in delom. Postavili smo jim preprosta vprašanja in oni so nam povedali svojo zgodbo…
// “Digital Diaries” is our project on a YouTube channel indicating that Every person is a story, like behind every smile, every scar .. there is a story. We captured pictures of different people from our country Pakistan coming from different cultural backgrounds and asked them to share their life story. We took only the audio recording and added subtitles in English to break the language barrier, with their pictures and work. We asked them simple questions and they told us their story…

Avdiovizualni performans je poskus kritike antropocentrizma skozi astrofiziko in astronomijo, vendar v umetniškem kontekstu. Razlika se pokaže med mikro svetom – (človeški avtocentrizem) in makro svetom – (ogromne galaksije) in predpostavko, da je naš svet morda le hologram. Projekt osvetljuje dejstvo, da človeška samo-osredotočenost vodi k eksponencialnemu razvoju tehnologij, ki so že dosegle prag, onstran katerega je verjetno le še samo samouničenje. A lahko izognemo smrti ali jo vsaj odložimo – če živimo nekje drugje, nemara zapustimo naš planet Zemlja …
// The Audiovisual performance is an attempt at criticising anthropocentrism through astrophysics and astronomy, but within an artistic context. The difference is displayed out among the micro-world – (human self-centrism) and the macro world – (huge galaxies) and the assumption that our world perhaps is merely a hologram. The project sheds light on the fact that human centricity leads to exponentially developing technologies that by now have reached the threshold beyond which there may only be self-destruction. But we can avoid death or delay it at least — if we live somewhere else, perhaps leave our planet Earth…
V 2. letniku modula pri predmetu Novi mediji študentje ključne teoretične koncepte in metode uporabijo pri diskusiji izbranih primerov umetniških del, ki jih postavljajo v razmerje do lastnega ustvarjanja. Ob daljši raziskovalni (seminarski) nalogi na izbrano temo, študentje v navezavi na taisto temo zasnujejo tudi kompleksnejši praktični projekt:
Po bogati beri krajših delavniških izkušenj v zimskem semestru povečini v okviru festivala Pixxelpoint 2019, gre v letnem semestru 2019/20 za dva projekta; pri enem je študentka izvedla tandemski projekt foto+audio bloga s partnerjem iz predmeta Novi mediji 1, v drugem pa je študent raziskoval razmerja mikro- in makro sveta ter skozi avdiovizualni performans preizprašal post-antropocentrično izkušnjo.
