Namen naloge je, da študentje razmislijo o vzdušju, ki ga potrebujejo za svojo zgodbo (fotografijo, film, animacijo, instalacijo…) in poskušajo najti prostor, ki ga omogoča. Naloga naj bi jih spodbudila, da predstavijo svojo zgodbo in izbran prostor ter opredelijo njegove prostorske, likovne in arhitekturne kvalitete ali pomanjkljivosti. Tako poskušajo utemeljiti na kakšen način izbran prostor podpira atmosfero in pripoved zgodbe. V primeru, da zgodbe še nimajo razvite, poiščejo realen prostor v svoji okolici in izpostavijo njegove likovne značilnosti, zaradi katerih se jim zdi prostor dragocen.
// The purpose of the exercise is for the students to think of the atmosphere that works for their story (photography, film, animation, installation,…) and try to find a space that carries it. The exercise is meant to stimulate them to present their story in a chosen space, defining its spatial, visual, and architectural qualities or disadvantages. In such a way they try to establish in what way the chosen space supports the atmosphere of the story. In case they haven’t developed the story yet they search for an existing space in their surroundings, defining its characteristics and explaining why they find it precious.
